There are multiple ways a contact can be added to a campaign—through bulk actions, manual additions, triggers, and more. Understanding how a contact was added to a campaign is crucial for tracking engagement and making adjustments. Follow these steps to view the Internal Source that shows how a particular contact was entered into a campaign.

Step 1: Navigate to the Campaigns Page

Go to the Campaigns section of Advisor's Growth.

Step 2: Review the Contact List

Locate the campaign you're interested in and click the number under the Total column. This number represents the total contacts in the campaign.

Step 3: Check the Internal Source

In the list of contacts, find the Internal Source column and click the hyperlink for the contact you'd like to investigate. The source will display one of several options:

  • Bulk Action: Indicates the contact was added through a bulk process.

  • Trigger: If the contact was triggered into the campaign, this will redirect you to the specific trigger that initiated the campaign.

  • Contact Detail Page: If you manually added the contact, this will take you to their contact record.

Each source provides insight into how the contact was added, whether through automated processes or manual input.
