Affiliate Manager Part 2 - How to Add or Upload Affiliates
In this guide, we’ll explore how to add or upload affiliates into Advisor's Growth. For additional tips, best practices, and a broader understanding of the feature, check out our other Affiliate Manager articles.
Step 1: Adding Affiliates
Navigate to Marketing > Affiliate Manager > Affiliates.
Click the +Add button, and a dropdown menu will appear.
Select New Affiliate to add an individual affiliate, Import from Contacts, or Upload Affiliates to upload a list of multiple affiliates at once.
For individual affiliates, fill out the pop-up form that appears and click Add Affiliate to save their information.
For bulk uploads, use a CSV file to upload multiple records simultaneously. Ensure your file has headers such as "First Name," "Last Name," "Email-id," "Phone Number," "Industry," and "Website." Then, map the contact fields and add them all to Advisor's Growth at once.
For bulk importing contacts, go to Affiliate Manager > Affiliates > Add > Import from Contacts and select multiple contacts to import.
Note: You can bulk add affiliates to a campaign when selecting or creating a new campaign.
Adding Sub-Affiliates:
You can now easily add sub-affiliates directly within the affiliate section.
Key Aspects:
No Purchase Necessary: Previously, customers needed to make a purchase to become a sub-affiliate. Now, sub-affiliates can be added without any purchase, streamlining the process.
Streamlined Process: Adding and removing sub-affiliates now requires just two clicks, making the process faster and more efficient.
Direct Addition Option: Users can now directly add a sub-affiliate, even if they are not already present on the platform.
How to Add Sub-Affiliates:
Navigate to the Affiliate page in Affiliate Manager.
Select the affiliate and scroll down to the Sub-Affiliate tab.
Click Add Sub-Affiliate and choose the campaign.
From the New Sub-Affiliate list, click to add.
Remove existing sub-affiliates if needed.
Add new profiles directly if they are not present.
Save your changes.
Step 2: Getting an Affiliate ID for Each Campaign
Navigate to Marketing > Affiliate Manager > Affiliates.
Scroll down and click on an affiliate name.
Toggle between your campaign(s) to see the unique ID for each campaign.
Step 3: Exporting Affiliates
To export your affiliate list, navigate to the Payouts section of the Affiliate tool, and click Export.
Pro Tip:
There is no system-generated email sent when a new affiliate is added to Advisor's Growth. However, when an affiliate campaign goes live, the affiliate will receive a system-generated email containing their unique URL Affiliate ID, which they’ll need for promoting the product or service.
Manually adding sales and commissions to the affiliate management system is especially useful for affiliates who promote products offline and may not use their affiliate links but still refer customers to you.
How to Use:
To add manual sales to an affiliate, click on the menu dots and select Add Manual Sales.
Navigate to the Marketing section, select your affiliate, and add the manual commission under the appropriate section.
You can search for customers via email.
One significant benefit of this feature is ensuring all affiliates are credited accurately for their efforts, enhancing their motivation and trust. You can input customer details, revenue amounts, and event dates. This feature also supports importing existing transactions and requires basic customer information such as name, email, and phone number.
