How to Import a Template into the Email Builder (Campaign)

In this guide, you’ll learn how to import email templates from platforms like Active Campaign, Mailchimp, or Kajabi into Advisor's Growth. This feature is particularly useful if you've previously used these platforms and want to continue working with your saved templates.

What You'll Need:

• An account with Active Campaign, Mailchimp, or Kajabi.

Part 1: Retrieving the Templates

Active Campaign

1. In Active Campaign, go to Campaigns > Campaign Templates from the left-hand menu.

2. The Manage Templates page will load, displaying all your custom templates.

3. Find the template you want to import and hover over it. A gear icon will appear—click on it.

4. Select Share from the dropdown menu.

5. A pop-up titled "Share this template" will display a link. Copy this link by clicking the link icon.

6. Close the window and save the URL in a notepad for later.

   • Note: If you're importing a specific campaign, go to the campaign you wish to import, then click Continue and choose Save as template.

Mailchimp

1. In Mailchimp, open the campaign you want to import.

2. From the dropdown after Edit/View Report, choose View Email and copy the campaign’s URL.

3. Paste this URL into a notepad for use later.

   • Note: Only campaigns can be imported. If you're working with a Mailchimp template, you'll need to convert it into a campaign before importing.

Kajabi

1. In Kajabi, locate the email you’d like to import.

2. Copy the email address provided by your Advisor's Growth account.

3. Send a copy of your Kajabi email to this address.

   • The system will automatically handle the import process from here.

Part 2: Importing the Templates into Advisor's Growth

1. In your Advisor's Growth account, navigate to Emails > Email Templates.

2. Click on the + New button and choose Import Email.

3. Select the source of your email template (Active Campaign, Mailchimp, or Kajabi).

   • For Active Campaign and Mailchimp, paste the campaign URL you copied earlier into the appropriate field.

   • For Kajabi, wait for the system to automatically import the template after you’ve sent the email to the designated address.

4. Once imported, preview the email to ensure everything appears as expected.

5. Click Create Template to complete the import process.
