How to Add RSS Elements to Your Email Templates
Using RSS in email marketing allows you to deliver updates and newly published blog content directly to your subscribers. Rather than sending individual emails for every new post, you can create periodic RSS emails or newsletters that summarize your latest content, ensuring your audience stays engaged without overwhelming their inbox.
What is an RSS Feed?
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It refers to XML (Extensible Markup Language) files that automatically update and exchange information between systems, like websites and email marketing platforms. An RSS feed keeps track of new content updates, which are then delivered to subscribers as they are published.
Creating an RSS Email Campaign:
Navigate to RSS Email Campaigns:
Go to Marketing > Emails > Campaigns.
Click Create Campaign.
Choose an Email Template:
Select an existing template or create one under Marketing > Emails > Campaigns if needed.
Use the preview option to check the design of the template before proceeding.
Designing with the Email Builder:
The Email Builder allows you to create your campaign’s content by dragging and dropping elements, such as text, images, and the RSS block, to seamlessly integrate your blog updates into the email.
Once you’ve designed your email, click Send or Schedule to proceed.

FAQ:
Q1: Why are there multiple entries for the same RSS campaign in the list?
Yes, each campaign entry corresponds to a specific set of statistics, and each time an RSS email is sent, it generates a new entry.
Q2: Can I edit the copy of the ongoing RSS campaign without affecting the statistics?
Yes, you can edit the email content of an ongoing RSS campaign by clicking Update Email Content. If you save your edits before the execution date, your changes should apply, although updates are not guaranteed if the execution queue has already started.
Q3: How can I reschedule RSS email campaigns?
Rescheduling is possible for Simple, Batch, and RSS schedules up to 60 minutes before the execution time. To reschedule:
Navigate to Marketing > Email.
Find your campaign under the Campaigns tab.
Click the action button to Reschedule the campaign.
Adjust the schedule or delivery method, then save your changes.
