Creating SMTP Credentials for a Dedicated Domain
Generating SMTP credentials for your dedicated sending domain enhances your email delivery performance. This feature ensures secure, authenticated access to your email system, improves integration with third-party services (like warm-up tools), and optimizes email deliverability.
Steps to Generate SMTP Credentials
1. Navigating to SMTP Settings
To begin, follow these steps:
Access Settings: Go to the bottom left of your dashboard and click on Settings.
Email Service: From the options, select Email Service.
2. Managing Your Dedicated Domain and IP
Dedicated Domain and IP: Under this section, you’ll see your dedicated domain listed. If it hasn’t been set up, you can add one.
Add a New Domain:
Click on Add Domain.
Enter your domain name and confirm by selecting Add.
3. Verifying Your Domain
Insert DNS Settings: Follow the instructions to insert the provided DNS settings into your domain provider’s DNS settings.
Verify the Domain: Once verified, your domain will appear in the list of dedicated domains.
4. Creating SMTP Credentials
SMTP Settings: Locate the three dots next to your dedicated domain. Click on them and select SMTP Settings.
Create New SMTP User:
Click on the plus icon to create a new SMTP user.
Choose a username and password. This password will be needed for any external services you connect, such as email warm-up tools.
Save Credentials: Once you click Create, your SMTP credentials will be successfully generated.
5. Managing Your SMTP Credentials
Delete SMTP Credentials: If you need to delete an SMTP user, click on the three dots next to their username and select Delete, then confirm.
Reset Password: To reset an SMTP password, follow these steps:
Click on the three dots next to the username.
Select Reset Password, enter the new password, confirm it, and click Reset.
6. Setting Up Team Emails
Create Team Emails: You can generate unique SMTP credentials for each team member by entering their email addresses and creating credentials as needed.
7. Direct Email Reception
Emails sent to designated addresses (such as support@yourdomain.com) will automatically appear in the Conversations tab, ensuring a streamlined communication process for your team.
