Adding "Add This Event to Your Calendar" Custom Values
When sending appointment reminders, it’s helpful to provide an option for your customers to easily add the event to their personal calendar. This can be done by using custom values within your message templates. Here’s how:
Step 1: Access the Message Templates
In Advisor's Growth, go to the Message Templates section.
Click Add New or edit an existing template by clicking the edit icon.
Step 2: Update the Template
In the email/SMS builder window that opens, find the dropdown for Custom Values.
From the list, select Appointment > Add to Google Calendar or Add to iCal/Outlook.
Click Save at the bottom of the builder screen.
Note: You can also add this option anywhere you can insert custom values, including emails or SMS messages in triggers, campaigns, or workflows.
