Overview of the Service Menu in Calendars
Curious about how a Service Menu can enhance your business operations? This guide breaks down its importance and provides steps to maximize its potential for your scheduling needs.
What is a Service Menu?
The Service Menu is a central feature that simplifies how clients view and book your services. Just like a restaurant menu categorizes dishes for easy selection, the Service Menu organizes your offerings, making it simple for clients to book multiple services through a single, unified widget.
Linked directly to the Service Calendar, this menu is specifically designed for service-based businesses. You can create and categorize different services, assign team members, and present everything seamlessly within one scheduling link—the Service Menu.
Benefits of the Service Menu
Here’s what the Service Menu allows you to do:
Create Dedicated Calendars for Each Service:
Easily set up individual calendars for each service you offer.
Assign specific team members to these service-specific calendars.
Organize Calendars into Categories:
Group your service calendars under categories for easier client navigation.
Decide which categories or services to showcase on the booking page, making it user-friendly and less cluttered.
Provide a single, comprehensive booking widget that consolidates all your services in one place.
Streamline Client Bookings:
Let clients easily book multiple services or schedule appointments for multiple people in one go.
Allow clients to choose their preferred team member when making a booking.
Clearly display key details like service duration, cost, and assigned staff members for each booking.
Who Can Benefit from the Service Menu?
The Service Menu is versatile and adaptable for various service-based businesses, including:
Salons and Hairdressers
Spas and Wellness Centers
Massage and Therapy Clinics
Fitness Studios and Trainers
Healthcare Providers
Event Planners
Pet Groomers
And many more!
If you provide services and want to elevate your client booking experience, the Service Menu is the perfect solution.
Getting Started: Prerequisites
Create a Group:
Think of a group as a category for your services.
Calendars added to a group will be displayed under that category in the appointment widget.
To create a new group, navigate to Calendar Settings and select Create Group.
Example: Create a “Hair Care” group for services like Haircut, Hair Spa, and Hair Coloring.
Create a Service Calendar:
Design individual calendars for each service you offer.
Assign each calendar to its corresponding group.
Example: For your Hair Care services, create separate calendars for Haircut (Male), Haircut (Female), Hair Spa, and Hair Coloring.
Create a Service Page Menu:
Choose which service calendars and groups you want to feature on your booking widget.
Offer clients a single place to make bookings.
Example: Your service menu could include categories like “Hair Care” and “Skin Care,” with services listed under each.
By setting up these elements, you’ll efficiently manage appointments and leverage the full potential of the Service Menu.
