Google Meet Calendar Integration with Advisor's Growth
Connecting your Google Calendar helps synchronize your bookings seamlessly between Google Calendar and Advisor's Growth, ensuring accurate availability, preventing double bookings, and streamlining your scheduling and booking management.
Prerequisites
Access your Gmail account linked to the Google Calendar you want to connect.
Determine the necessary access level:
Writer's Access: Needed if you want events created in Advisor's Growth to be added to your Google Calendar.
Read-Only Access: Sufficient if you only need to fetch events from Google Calendar into Advisor's Growth without adding new ones.
How to Use the Integration
You can connect your Google Calendar from two locations:
Settings > My Profile > Calendar Settings
Calendars > Calendar Settings > Connections Tab
Multiple Meeting Locations in Calendar

Troubleshooting: Google Meet Grayed Out
If Google Meet appears grayed out or unavailable:
Verify that your Google Account is properly integrated by revisiting Settings > Integrations.
Double-check your Google Account settings and permissions.
If the issue persists, contact support for further assistance.
Configuring Google Calendar in Calendar Settings
After linking your Google account, finalize your calendar configuration by selecting your Linked Calendar and Conflict Calendar. Access this by navigating to Calendars > Calendar Settings > Connections.
Calendar Configurations
There are two main settings:
Linked Calendar: All events created in Advisor's Growth are added to this calendar. For example, any new event you create will sync to your Google Calendar, making it visible in both platforms.
Note: Writer's access is required to designate a calendar as a linked calendar.
The linked calendar is also used as the conflict calendar by default, ensuring that events are fetched from Google and pushed to Advisor's Growth to maintain consistency.
Conflict Calendar: Events from third-party calendars set as conflict calendars are synced into Advisor's Growth to block availability during those times.
Availability is only blocked if the event is marked as 'BUSY' in the third-party calendar. Events marked as 'FREE' are still fetched but do not block availability.
You can add multiple calendars to prevent double bookings and ensure accurate scheduling.
