Class Booking Now Live on the Calendar!
The CRM has introduced a new Class Booking feature, enabling users to schedule and manage classes, webinars, workshops, and other group events with ease. This guide will help you understand how to set up and use this feature effectively.
Introduction to Class Booking
Class Booking is designed for organizing events with multiple attendees, whether it's a fitness class, webinar, or training session. It offers seamless tools for scheduling, attendee management, and tracking.
Setting Up Class Booking
Enable Class Booking:
Log in to your CRM, go to Settings, and navigate to the Calendar section.
Create a new calendar or edit an existing one, selecting "Class Booking" as the calendar type.
Add Team Members:
Add at least one team member (appointment owner) to the calendar. This person will manage the class.
Configure Calendar Details:
Provide a calendar name, description, and unique URL slug.
Note that the Neo Widget type is required for class calendars.
Set Maximum Attendees:
Determine the number of attendees allowed per class (up to 9999).
Save your settings to activate the Class Booking calendar.
Configure Availability:
Adjust availability to control class sizes and ensure a smooth booking experience.
Save your settings to finalize the setup.
Managing Class Bookings
Create Class Events:
Add new class events by specifying the date, time, location, and event description.
Monitor Attendance:
Track attendee numbers and manage bookings through the calendar interface.
Handle Cancellations and Rescheduling:
Cancel or reschedule all class appointments at once or manage individual attendee changes.
To cancel or reschedule, open the class booking, and choose either "Cancel All" or "Reschedule All."
For individual attendee management, use the options menu next to their name.
Integrations and Meeting Locations
Third-Party Calendar Integration: Class bookings sync separately with integrated calendars like Google Calendar or Outlook.
Meeting Locations: Currently limited to custom locations, with future updates planned to add more options.
Enhancements with "Show Seats Per Slot"
Enable "Show Seats Per Slot":
Go to advanced settings in the calendar.
Under "Customizations," toggle on "Show Seats Per Slot" within the "Calendar Widget Style" section.
Save Changes:
Once enabled, the calendar widget will display available seats per time slot, allowing attendees to book with full visibility of class availability.
Important Notes:
This feature is exclusive to Class Booking calendars and Neo widgets.
It is only visible if the "Seats per class" setting is set to a value greater than 1.
