Forms Builder - Terms and Conditions Element

The Terms and Conditions (T&C) field in the Advisor’s Growth form builder is a crucial element designed to help users comply with A2P (Application-to-Person) messaging regulations in the United States. This field allows businesses to collect legal consent when gathering phone information, ensuring that all communications are compliant.


Step 1: Adding and Customizing the T&C Element

  1. Access the Form Builder:

    • Navigate to Sites > Forms.

    • Open the form builder where you want to add the T&C element.

  2. Locate the Terms and Conditions Field:

    • In the form builder’s menu, find the Terms and Conditions field.

    • Click and drag the element to your desired position within the form.


Step 2: Customizing the Terms and Conditions Field

  1. Edit the Text:

    • You can customize the content of the T&C field to fit your business needs.

  2. Add Hyperlinks:

    • You have the option to hyperlink portions of the text, directing users to another site, such as your Privacy Policy or Terms of Service pages.

  3. Save the Form:

    • Ensure that all changes are saved.

Note: If your form includes a phone number field, the Terms and Conditions field will be automatically added. This feature simplifies the process of collecting consent and helps maintain compliance with legal standards when gathering phone data.


Updated Terms and Conditions Features

  • Default Terms and Conditions: The T&C text has been updated when a phone field is included, offering default content that is already compliant with A2P messaging regulations.

  • Compliant Message: The default message explicitly requests user consent for contacting them via their phone number, ensuring you remain in line with legal requirements.

  • New Text Elements: When a phone field is added, additional text elements will be automatically included, containing links to your Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. This ensures transparency and clarity regarding how user data will be handled.


These enhancements streamline the compliance process, making it easier for your business to collect necessary consents while remaining legally compliant.
