Forms and Surveys Email Verification

Introduction With our new feature, you can now validate email addresses directly within your forms and surveys. This ensures that the email addresses provided by users are both accurate and functional, helping maintain data integrity and ensuring effective communication.

Steps to Enable Email Validation in Forms:

  1. Navigate to the Sites Tab:

    • Go to the Sites tab in your account.

  1. Go to Forms:

    • Select Forms from the menu options.

  1. Add a New Form or Edit an Existing One:

    • Create a new form or choose an existing form to edit.

  1. Edit the Email Field:

    • Click on the email field within the form editor.

  1. Enable Email Validation:

    • In the right-side menu or settings panel, find the option labeled "Validate Email".

    • Enable this option to activate email address validation for the field.

  1. This will add a Verify Email button to the email field. When users enter their email address, they will have the option to verify it. Clicking the button will trigger an OTP (One-Time Password) sent to their inbox. They must enter the OTP to complete the email verification process.


Enabling email validation helps ensure that email addresses are correctly formatted and functional, maintaining data accuracy and reliability.

Custom Fields and Values in Email Notifications:

Enhanced Customization:

  • You can now include custom fields and values in email notifications. This feature allows for more personalized and relevant information, enhancing the effectiveness of your communications.

Reply-To Email Field:

  • A "Reply-To Email" field has been added to email notifications. This enables the form creator to set a reply-to email address using a custom field (e.g., {{contact.email}}). When the form is submitted, responses can be directed to the customer’s email, improving communication efficiency and response times.

How to Access:

  1. Click on the notification icon located in the left corner of the form editor.

  2. Turn on email notifications.

  3. Locate the "Reply-To Email" option and configure it as needed.
