How to Collect Donations via Forms
You can now efficiently collect donations and payments directly through forms by adding a payment element. This feature allows you to specify a fixed donation amount or let donors choose their preferred amount. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to set it up:
Setting Up the Donation Form
1. Access Forms:
Go to the Sites tab.
Navigate to Forms.
2. Add a New Form:
Click on the + Add Form button in the top right corner.
3. Add the Payment Element:
In the form builder, locate the Collect Payment element on the left-hand side.
Drag and drop this element into your form.
4. Customize Payment Settings:
Click on the payment element to open customization options on the right side.
5. Configure Payment Settings:
Live Mode:
Toggle On to activate live payments.
Toggle Off for test payments.
Payment Type:
Collect Payment: Choose this to collect a specific donation amount.
Sell Product: Select this if you want to sell a product (ensure you have a product created under the Payments tab > Products).
Suggest an Amount:
Enter Specific Amount Options: Add predefined donation amounts for users to choose from.
Toggle Off to let users manually enter their desired donation amount without suggestions.
Include Other Amount:
Allow Users to Enter Amount: Provide an option for users to enter their own donation amount if they prefer not to choose from the suggested amounts.
Select Currency:
Choose the currency in which you wish to receive donations.
