Managing Your Tasks Tab
The Tasks tab is your command center for efficiently handling all your business tasks. With this feature, you can view, create, edit, search, and filter tasks to streamline your workflow.
Step 1: Creating a Task
Navigate to Contacts > Tasks.
Click +New Task in the top right corner.
A pop-up will appear where you can fill in the task details, including title, due date, assignee, priority, and any notes.
Tasks can also be created automatically using automations like Workflows, Triggers, and Campaigns.
Step 2: Managing Your Task List
Search Tasks:
Use the search bar in the top left corner to find a specific task by name.
Filter Tasks:
In the top right, use the dropdown options to filter tasks by criteria such as due date, assignee, or task type.
The “Unassigned” filter helps you view tasks that are not linked to a specific contact.
Bulk Actions:
Select multiple tasks by checking the boxes on the left side of the task list.
You can apply bulk actions like marking tasks as complete, setting them as pending, or deleting them.
Managing Individual Tasks:
Click the three-dot dropdown menu next to a task to individually manage it.
Options include marking it as complete, editing, or deleting the task.
Contactless Tasks - Internal Tasks for Your Team
Sometimes, tasks are purely internal and don’t need to be associated with a specific contact. You can create and assign these tasks directly to team members.
How to Use Contactless Tasks
Navigate to the Tasks Tab:
Go to the dedicated Tasks tab.
Create a Task Without a Contact:
Click +New Task in the top right corner.
Fill in the task details in the pop-up that appears, leaving the contact field blank.
