How to Recover Deleted Contacts in Advisor's Growth

In Advisor's Growth, managing contacts is a key task, and from time to time, you might need to remove outdated information, inactive leads, or customers who are no longer relevant. However, if you accidentally delete a contact that you didn’t intend to, there’s an easy way to restore it. Here’s how you can recover deleted contacts in Advisor's Growth:

Step 1: Deleting Contacts

To delete contacts:

  • Go to the Contacts section and select one or more records, then click the trashcan icon to remove the selected contact(s).

  • Alternatively, you can delete a contact directly from their individual contact record.

Step 2: Restoring Deleted Contacts

You have two primary methods for restoring deleted contacts—individually or through a bulk action.

Individually Restore Contacts:
This option is ideal if you only need to restore one or a few contacts.

  1. Go to Contacts > Restore Contacts.

  2. Check the box next to the contact(s) you want to recover.

  3. Click the “Restore” button located at the top right of the screen.

  4. Confirm the restoration when prompted.

The restored contacts will now be back in your contact list.

Bulk Action - Restoring Contacts:
For situations where multiple contacts were deleted at once, this option allows for a bulk restoration.

  1. Go to Contacts > Bulk Actions.

  2. Click the three dots in the Actions menu to reveal more options.

  3. Select “Restore” from the dropdown menu.

Once the process completes, you’ll see the status marked as “Completed,” and the contacts will be reinstated into your list.
