Understanding the Sticky Contact Feature
The Sticky Contact feature ensures that information provided by a lead is saved and automatically synced across multiple forms or surveys they interact with. This is particularly useful when you have an initial opt-in that directs to a calendar/appointment page or a two-step order form.
Step 1: How to Enable or Disable Sticky Contact
Access Form/Survey Settings: Open an existing form/survey or create a new one.
Navigate to Options: Scroll down within the settings and find the Sticky Contact toggle.
Toggle On/Off: Simply switch the Sticky Contact feature on or off depending on your requirements.
Important Note: If you’re manually filling out a form for a lead (e.g., while texting or speaking with them over the phone) and Sticky Contact is enabled, make sure to use incognito mode in your browser. Otherwise, the previous lead’s information will automatically populate whenever you open that form or survey. This happens because the cached data remains stored, causing the system to assume that the same lead is attempting to submit their details again.
