Editing Pending and Processing Bulk Actions

Using the Bulk Actions feature in your Contacts section, you can perform various one-off actions such as sending SMS blasts, adding contacts to campaigns or workflows, and sending drip emails. For example, you might want to send an email to 1,000 people in batches of 10 per hour, Monday through Friday.

If you need to edit a Bulk Action, the options available depend on whether the action is still pending or is currently processing.

Step 1: Determine the Status of the Bulk Action

1. Navigate to Bulk Actions

2. Click the 3-dot menu icon next to the Bulk Action you want to check, under the “Actions” column.

   • Queued: The action is scheduled for the future but hasn’t started yet (e.g., an email scheduled to be sent in batches starting next week).

   • Processing: The action is currently underway, and batches have already started sending (e.g., an email being sent every other day is 33% complete).

Step 2: Edit the Bulk Action

1. Click the 3-dot menu icon next to the Bulk Action you wish to edit, under the “Actions” column.

   • For Queued Actions:

     1. You will see an “Edit” option.

     2. Click on it. In the popup window, you can adjust the delivery schedule.

     3. Save Changes to confirm. The Bulk Action will be updated accordingly.

     4. You can repeat this process until the first batch of the Bulk Action starts.

   • For Processing Actions:

     1. You will see an “Edit Batch Quantity” option.

     2. Click on it. In the popup window, you can adjust the batch quantity (e.g., changing from 10 emails per hour to 5 or 50).

     3. Save Changes to confirm. The Bulk Action will be updated.

     4. You can repeat this process while the Bulk Action is still processing.

By following these steps, you can manage and adjust your Bulk Actions effectively, ensuring they meet your needs as they progress.
