Contact Company Overview
The Contact Companies feature allows you to manage and organize details of businesses you engage with, track related tasks, and view contacts associated with a company. This feature provides a consolidated view of all relevant company information and associated contacts.
Step 1: Navigate to the Company Feature
Go to Contacts and select Company.
To add a new company, click on + New Company.
Fill in all relevant fields, then click Add New Company.
Step 2: Add a Contact to a Company
Go to the Contact Card of the individual.
In the Company Tab, select the corresponding company.
Click Apply.
Step 3: View Contacts Associated with a Company
Return to the Company tab and select the desired company.
You’ll see all associated contacts listed here.
Step 4: Create and Manage Tasks at the Company Level
View tasks linked to contacts associated with the company by navigating to Contacts > Company > Tasks.
You can:
Sort tasks by due date and status.
Seamlessly change the status of a task.
Edit or delete tasks as needed.
This feature helps users track activities at the company level, beginning with tasks.
Step 5: Associate Multiple Contacts with a Company
From the company details page, go to the Contacts Tab and select Add Contacts.
Choose multiple contacts from the dropdown menu and map them to the company.
Once applied, all selected contacts will be associated with that company.
Step 6: Use the “Business Name” Field to Create and Associate Contacts with a Company
Go to Settings > Companies.
Enable the setting to use the Business Name field in contacts to automatically create companies and associate contacts.
You can apply this setting retroactively from a pop-up after enabling it.
The Contact Companies feature streamlines the management of company-related tasks and contact information, making it easy to keep track of all business interactions in one place.
