Bulk Actions: Pipeline Change
The Bulk Actions feature in Advisor's Growth is designed for handling multiple updates efficiently. Here's how to perform a pipeline change to add or update opportunity statuses for selected contacts:
Step 1: Choose Your Contacts
Navigate to Your Contacts:
Go to the Contacts or Smart Lists section.
Select the Contacts to Update:
Check the boxes next to the contact records you want to include in this pipeline change.
You can select all contacts on a page by checking the box at the top. To select all contacts in your database, click the hyperlink that appears when you check the top box.
Step 2: Choose Your Action
Select "Pipeline Change":
Click on the "Pipeline Change" icon.
Configure the Pipeline and Opportunity Details:
In the “Add/Update Opportunity” window that pops up, you can select or update the following:
Pipeline: Choose the relevant pipeline for your contacts.
Stage: Select the stage within the pipeline.
Opportunity Name: Assign a name for the opportunity.
Lead Value: Set the value of the lead.
Opportunity Status: Choose the status of the opportunity (e.g., Open, Won, Lost).
Confirm Your Changes:
Click Add/Update Opportunity to finalize and apply your updates to the selected contacts.
Scheduling Bulk Actions in Drip Mode:
When scheduling in drip mode, the "repeat after" setting specifies how frequently batches of contacts are processed.
For example, setting it to process 100 contacts every 5 hours means that the system will continue running this batch process until all contacts are updated.
If you have 780 contacts selected, this setup would result in 8 batches (7 batches of 100 contacts and 1 batch of 80 contacts).
This bulk action capability allows for streamlined management of your sales pipelines, ensuring all selected contacts are updated quickly and accurately.
