Bulk Action Delivery Options
Bulk actions allow you to efficiently manage a group of contacts by performing actions such as sending emails, SMS, or adding them to workflows. Here’s a detailed guide on the available delivery options and how to manage them.
Delivery Options
Send All at Once
Description: Sends the message to all selected contacts immediately.
Send All at Scheduled Time
Description: Sends the message to all selected contacts at a specified future time.
Send in Drip Mode
Description: Sends messages in batches over a specified time period.
Configuration: You can set up batches and define time windows (e.g., batches of 100 every 5 hours on selected days).
Important Notes:
Drip mode pauses on unselected days and resumes when the time window reopens. During this pause, contacts will not be processed.
Workflow windows for specific times will override bulk action settings if configured.
If the bulk action is scheduled for the future or in drip mode, you will see a pencil icon on the Bulk Actions tab where you can edit or delete the action if it hasn't started yet.
Viewing Bulk Actions
To check the status of a bulk action:
Navigate to Contacts > Bulk Actions.
Click on the three dots menu next to the bulk action.
You can view the status and/or pause the action from this menu.
Rate Limits
Drip Mode:
Frequencies of 30 seconds - 1 minute: 1,000 messages per minute
Frequencies of 5 minutes: 4,999 messages per minute
Frequencies of 6 - 10 minutes: 5,000 messages per minute
Frequencies above 10 minutes: 10,000 messages per minute
Send All at Once / Send All at Scheduled Time:
Less than 10k contacts: 15,000 contacts per hour
More than 10k but less than 50k contacts: 6,000 contacts per hour
More than 50k but less than 70k contacts: 3,000 contacts per hour
More than 70k contacts: 1,500 contacts per hour
Schedule Bulk Actions in Advance
Maximum Future Scheduling: Bulk Actions can be scheduled up to 720 hours (approximately 30 days) in advance.
