Understanding URL Paths in Advisor's Growth

Grasping the concept of URL paths is essential for effectively managing and utilizing domains within Advisor's Growth. This knowledge allows you to optimize the structure of your website or funnels, making navigation easier for your audience. Below, we’ll walk you through how to access and manage URL paths within Advisor's Growth.

Step 1: Accessing and Editing Domains

  1. Navigate to Settings > Domains:

    • Start by logging into your Advisor's Growth account.

    • Go to the Settings tab and click on Domains to see a list of all the domains set up in your account.

  1. Edit Domain Settings:

    • Click the edit icon next to any domain to view and modify its settings.

    • You can set the default page for your domain. For example, if your domain is www.example.com, you can decide whether this URL should resolve to your homepage or any other page. (e.g., www.example.com could take users to the homepage, while www.example.com/maps could take them directly to the maps page.)

    • After making your selection for the default page, save your changes.

Step 2: Updating URL Paths in Funnels

  1. Navigate to Funnels:

    • Go to the Funnels section and select the funnel you want to work with.

    • Click on Settings for the selected funnel.

  2. Setting the Domain and Path:

    • Choose the domain associated with this funnel. You can create a unique path for each funnel that uses the same domain.

    • For instance, if your domain is www.thedemoaccount.com, and you have a funnel named “Demo Funnel,” you could create a path like www.thedemoaccount.com/demofunneltwosteporderform. This URL will direct users to the first step of the “Demo Funnel.”

  3. Editing Funnel Step Paths:

    • Under Funnel Steps > Publishing, you can create a unique URL path for each step in your funnel.

    • For example, a funnel with multiple steps could have URLs like www.thedemoaccount.com/step1, www.thedemoaccount.com/step2, etc.

    • To edit the path for a specific funnel step, navigate to Steps > Overview, and click the edit icon.

    • In the pop-up window, you can name the funnel page and create its corresponding path.

Final Thoughts:

Understanding and managing URL paths allows you to customize the user journey through your funnels or website in Advisor's Growth. By strategically setting up domains and paths, you can direct visitors to specific pages efficiently, which can improve user experience and enhance your marketing efforts.

Whether you’re setting up simple paths or complex multi-step funnels, having control over your URLs is crucial for effective online presence management.
