How to Set Up Payment Plans in Funnels Using Advisor's Growth
This guide will walk you through the process of creating products with payment plans in your funnels, allowing you to charge your customers in installments for your products or services.
Prerequisites:
Ensure your payment gateway (such as Stripe, PayPal, NMI, or Authorize.Net) is integrated.
Have an order form ready in your funnel.
Step 1: Set Up Your Product
Navigate to Payments:
Go to the Payments section and select Products.
Fill in the initial details such as product name, description, type, and image.
Additional Options:
If needed, click on Additional Options to set up the Statement Descriptor for how the charge will appear on your customer's statement.
Pricing Area:
In the pricing section, specify the pricing name, type, amount, and billing period.
Set your price and select Recurring for the product type.
Choose a billing period (e.g., every 30 days, monthly).
Further Customization:
Click on Additional Options again to add details like price description, trial period, the number of payments, and any setup fees.
Remember, if you include a trial period, it counts as one payment.
Membership Offer (optional):
If this product is part of a membership offer, toggle the Membership Offer option and select the relevant membership.
Create the Product:
Once all the details are set, click Create to finalize the product setup.
Example:
If you set a 7-day trial period with a $50 monthly payment for four months, customers will first get access to your product during the trial period. After the trial, they will make four monthly payments of $50. The total payments will be five (one for the trial and four for the monthly payments). After the final payment, their access will be revoked.
Step 2: Integrate the Product into Your Funnel
Navigate to Your Funnel:
Go to Sites > Funnels in Advisor's Growth.
Select the funnel and the specific step where your order form is located.
Add or Edit the Product:
Click on Products and either edit an existing product or add a new one.
Fill in the necessary details for the product.
Save Your Changes:
Click Save to confirm the product setup in your funnel.
Important Notes:
Payment plans can only be used with products associated with an order form. Make sure the product is correctly integrated with the order form to enable the payment plan functionality.
