Adding Navigation and Search to Your Blog
To enhance your blog's functionality, you can incorporate a navigation bar with a search feature using the Site Builder. This feature, known as "Advisor's Growth," allows you to browse and search blog categories effectively. Below is a guide on setting up and customizing this element.
Important: Ensure you place the blog element on your web page after adding the Advisor's Growth navigation bar for proper functionality.
Setting Up the Advisor's Growth Element:
Accessing the Element:
Open or create the website where you want to add the feature.
Locate and add the "Advisor's Growth" element by searching for it or selecting the “Blog” category.
Customizing the Element:
Once added, click on the Advisor's Growth element to open the settings menu.
You can:
Add New Items: Click the plus symbol to include additional items.
Duplicate Items: Click the copy symbol to replicate an existing item.
Delete Items: Click the trash can icon to remove an item.
View Options: Click the hamburger icon or title to explore more options.
Set the title, choose the category, decide if it should open in a new tab, and then click submit.
General Settings:
In the General tab, you can adjust spacing, color, and font settings. Make changes according to your preferences and decide if you want the search bar to be included.
Advanced Settings:
The Advanced tab offers additional customization options including Line Height, Border and Shadow, Visibility, and Custom Class. Here, you can find and modify the element’s CSS selector.
Preview Your Changes:
Click the preview button to test the navigation and list menu. By default, all blog entries will be visible in the preview.
