Incorporating Videos into Your Funnel Builder

Integrating videos into your funnels can enhance user engagement and create a more compelling experience for visitors. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to effectively add and configure video elements in your funnels.

Part 1: Configuring Video Settings

Step 1: General Video Settings

  1. Accessing Video Settings:

    • After adding a video element to your funnel, locate the “Video Settings” panel on the right side of the screen.

    • This panel contains two tabs: General and Advanced. Switch between these tabs to tailor your video settings.

  1. Customizing the Video Element:

    • Just like with an Image Element, you can adjust padding and margins for the Video Element. Modifying padding can affect the video’s dimensions within the funnel.

    • Select the correct Video Type (Vimeo, YouTube, Wistia) and input the appropriate video URL. If these fields are properly filled, the video will display immediately in the element. You also have options for Custom Embed, HTML5, and Hosted Video.

  1. Configuring Playback Settings:

    • Choose settings such as Autoplay and Controls based on the Video Type. Experiment with different options to find what works best for your funnel.

  1. Note: Video quality options include 480P, 720P, 1080P, and Auto, depending on the format of the uploaded video.
Note: For Hosted Videos, you can enable or disable user controls such as Play/Pause, Playback Speed Control (0.5x, 0.75x, 1x, 2x), and features like Pending Time, Full Screen Toggle, and Progress Bar. You can also choose to disable seeking.

  1. Adjusting Size:

    • If you want a fixed size for the Video Element, you can adjust the Width setting to three different sizes. Note that this adjustment does not apply to Hosted Videos or Custom Embeds.

Step 2: Advanced Video Settings

  1. Customizing Borders and Displays:

    • In the Advanced tab, you can modify the border settings and adjust how the video appears on mobile and desktop views.

    • You’ll also find the CSS selector for further customization.

Part 2: Tracking Your Video’s Performance (For Hosted Videos)

Step 1: Video Settings in the General Tab

  1. Disable Progress Bar:

    • To track video performance, you may want to disable the ‘Show Progress Bar.

  1. Redirect Unregistered Visitors:

    • Enable ‘Redirect Unregistered Visitors’ to use cookies for tracking video engagement. Ensure you specify a destination for unregistered visitors, such as your contact information page.

Step 2: Create a Workflow

  1. Setting Up Triggers:

    • Set the Workflow Trigger to Video Tracking. Note that Video Tracking works only for leads who are already in your contact database.

  2. Applying Filters:

    • Add the ‘Video’ filter and select ‘is any of’ as the operator.

    • Choose the appropriate video from your Media Library.

    • Add the ‘Video duration (%)’ filter and select an operator to match the viewership you wish to monitor (Equals to, Greater than, Less than, etc.), then enter the percentage.

    • Save the Trigger.

Step 3: Implement Actions

  1. Utilizing Video Tracking:

    • Use the Video Tracking trigger to gauge content effectiveness and as a nurturing tool. You can send targeted follow-up emails to those who watched a specific portion of the video to prompt further action. Add additional actions as needed to align with your objectives.

By following these steps, you can effectively integrate and track video content within your funnels to enhance user engagement and measure the success of your video marketing efforts.
